Meet Daisy

Daisy and the Sun Within

"Linked to the Rhythm - of movement, of music, of life."

Born beneath the Aurora Australis, Daisy was the only surviving chick of a hard season in Antarctica. She is different from the other penguins and sometimes lacks confidence, but she loves to dance and dreams of exploring beyond the colony.

Daisy carries a small heart-shaped mark on her chest, a reminder of the night she was born, when a tendril of light from the aurora touched her heart. Dancing becomes the way she calms her body, focuses her thoughts, and finds her rhythm.

One night, as Daisy dances beneath the stars, she finds herself in the Sun Realm, where she meets Tickle Me Tina, a soft pink, heart-shaped being who glows brighter when she is hugged or finds something funny. Tina explains that feeling "tickled pink" is a sign of joy and connection.

Together, Daisy and Tina show children that rhythm helps us move forward and regulation helps us feel safe. Guided by rhythm, just as penguins use the sun to navigate, Daisy learns that being different is a strength and that emotions can be understood, not ignored.

Daisy's story sits at the heart of the Rhythm & Regulate program, helping children build self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and confidence through movement, reflection, and positive reinforcement.
